好开心哦！过了两个半星期闷死人的长长的假期，这两天总算开心地、充实地玩了一番！虽然花了不少钱，但是换来的与朋友和情人的相聚以及得到的开心和满足是值得的！oh my god, 过了考试就没再碰书本，现在要用华文字怎么感觉没那么流畅了。。。

今天：

KTV： 今天（严格说是昨天，因为现在是星期四清晨了）是阿燕的21岁生日。谁是阿燕呢？她是我的未来sister-in-law（heehee..hopefully la!），这是她一生中只有一次的21岁生辰。我、deardear、仪仔、阿燕下午去KTV，在此极度须要comment一下、发泄一下我对该KTV的不满！

went to partyworld chinatown @ oriental plaza..super fed-up with the service there! firstly, our singing session was seriously interrupted by so-called "update of the system songs"..dun understand y they can’t update the songs at a time when there r no customers! maybe the boss doesn’t want to pay the staff overtime wages? and dun understand y only our room was affected?! i walked ard & saw all other rooms were singing. & the stupid staff there still lie to me when i asked about it, saying all rooms are affected. what the hell! tink i blind cannot double-check the truth myself izit?! and so, they promised to pay us back the so-called 15 minutes of time which they had taken fr us to "update new songs". but hello, they cheated our time ok! more than 15 mins was taken up but they only paid back 15 mins!

and when they come in to inform us, the guy simply walked into our room & turned down our mic & music volume totally..excuse me! like..reli no manners! pple singing halfway, then u walk in as if the room is yours & jus turn off all the volume controls, and NOT a word of "sorry for interruption", "paiseh", watsoever!

ok…the time & interruption was only one small thing..secondly, the service there is real bad leh…maybe bcos i compare it with my fav branch — sunlight @ cuppage plaza. i seriously tink staff fr other branches of partyworld shud hv attachments @ sunlight & c how sunlight staff provide customers with gd service! i nv fail to c the smiles on the staff’s faces & they always greet customers when customers enter & leave. when we make some requests, they owiz explain/agree with a smile on their faces & they r sure very efficient! it jus makes us — customers, feel warm & brightens our day! come on, we go ktv to relax, to enjoy, hoping to get gd service, so y can’t workers in the service line put in abit of effort? if u cant even make customers happy, then u aren’t in the correct line! go find another job pls!

anyway, back to the bad service…all the staff i met @ oriental plaza dis aftnoon (except 1 who presented the bill) wasn’t even smiling a bit…no nid big smile, but not even abit..and when we asked them questions, they simply answered with a "hmm", "yes", "no" or even no sound, jus a nod on the head with no expression at all…and come in to serve drinks, even so silly to block the tv monitor for more than 10 seconds, when he kud jolly well stood near the door..OMG!! that guy must be a newbie! and while the person singing was shifting so obviously to see the tv monitor, the silly person jus stood there not moving & not saying sorry…OMG!!! reli bak-cek lor！

i must say i AM certainly very particular about the quality of service i get fr pple wrking in the service line, whether itz ktv, restaurants, shops in shopping centres, even stat boards, wherever.. & if the person or the plc is reli gd, satisfy me, i reli make a gd comment & praise the person/staff. if their svc reli satisfy me, y not give them a praise? that’ll definitely make their day rite? and they in turn will continue to provide gd svc. so at the end of it all, it makes them happy & i myself happy too.

thirdly, there were free drinks today, n even 1hr b4 our time ends, the staff there took no initiative to ask wat we wanted for the drinks. shud i say, if we didn’t ask for it, they would "forfeit" our free drinks??? and even aft pressing the "call button" for more than 5 mins, no one came in to take our order…we had to walk outside to call for pple..watz the "call button" for then?! 莫名其妙！and it took about 10mins to get our 3 glasses of honey red & 1 cup of hot honey done, when there were more than 4 staff & only less than 5 rooms were occupied..

ok….so conclusion is…if not reli necessary, i will definitely NOT waste my $$ at the partyworld oriental plaza branch again! still want to sing happily & comfortably @ sunlight. and sunlight nvr fails to make nice drinks. i mean, at least to me itz sweet & nice, not like other branches, where most of their drinks are often almost tasteless..stingy?

ok, enuf of those annoying stuffs…

DINNER：dinner was at marina south，吃了经济实惠的自助海鲜烧烤@镇发活海鲜。sill nice, altho the standard dropped abit bit，very hot, sticky & oily process, but fun, having to BBQ our own food..had fun & i always enjoy myself there, cos can get to eat lots of lots of my fav prawns!!! at a cheap price!

POST-DINNER ACTIVITIES：went to play pool & bowling…simple activities but enjoyed to the max! i guess most of the time, it depends alot on who u carry out the activities with! haha..yan & yi tried pool for the 1st time. n we bowled!!! that was the happiest part..simply bcos i improved tremendously!!=) i’ve bowled for less than 5 times in my life so far, n i had always hated bowling, cos owiz so malu…i used to get only 20+marks for the whole damn game..was simply THAT lousy! BUT, i had gd company today! who could pt out my mistakes & help me improve! and the 1st game, i got 50+ marks! alr a great improvement! 2nd game i got 60+ marks! improvement some more. the 3rd game, i got 96 marks! wow! highest mark i’ve ever got in my 25yrs of life! maybe itz lousy to u expert bowlers out there…but heehee..for me, itz an achievement alr! hope itz not just 昙花一现的实力！希望可以保持水准！but i’m sure我再也不会像以前那么抗拒打保龄球了。

昨天：

昨天和朋友去sunlight唱K。。。of coz enjoyed myself! cos holidays闷在家里太久了，闷得快发慌了！昨天做了自己喜欢的事 — 唱歌，也吃了自己喜欢的食物 — 韩国餐！nice korean restaurant @ heeren..gd recommendation to those who love korean food! comfortable plc too, not too noisy even with the plc full of customers. the set meals price r reasonable..n serving quite big..3 of us ordered a set meal for 2persons, and ate til quite full. about $15 per person only..conclusion: had quite some fun ystd too! & itz such a bliss that orchard is not crowded, cos itz a wkday.

datz about all..tmr’s back to the same old boring life again..giving tuition..& not enuf slep left liao….gonna be a boring teacher tmr..heh hehz….but looking fwd to fri! cos maybe wil mit up wif deardear again!=) and my singing lessons at music forest is starting on fri too! hmm…dunno if i hv the perserverance to tahan 20 lessons..but i reli hope will benefit fr the classes..so expensiv…heart-pain oh! hv always loved singing, but my range owiz so limited & dunno start fr when， voice no longer powerful like lastime liao..sad..

heard fr some frens who hv started teaching, that aft teaching, they can’t sing as well as in the past liao..SAD! my bond is 5yrs…& i can’t imagine hw my voice will end up like…watz worse is, i can’t imagine a life not being able to sing! so….1yr left b4 i start teaching…i beta sing all i want! haha…

开心的两天就这么快过去了。。。开心的时光总是短暂的，而漫长的，总是不开心的日子，真讨厌！因此，人们总是特别怀念那短暂的、偶尔的，开心幸福的时光。
