taxi matter

was, was saying about the annoying thing i came across today. was trying to get a cab fr maxwell road to somerset, aft vocal lesson today.
and was reli frustrated when i c SSSSSOOOOOOOOO MANYYYYYY EMPTY cabs on the road, but they just didn’t want to stop…it was about 8.20pm, no longer peak hour, so there wasn’t the $2 surcharge to make them willing to stop for us.
in the end, we "attacked" a cab which was stopping at the traffic lights. the cab initially said no, she didn’t want to take us, but eventually still managed to get on it la…
these bloody hell cabs tink they very "dai sai"(cantonese) izit??!! 吊起来卖!watz the use of increasing the meter fare then? i reli felt like calling comfort to lodge a complaint. but i not so 无聊、not so free to do such things la, but the thought did come to my mind. itz reli frustrating when you need a cab, and there are reli so many cabs "flying" by, yet they just do not want to stop.
once heard fr a cab driver saying, these cabs, especially comfort cabs sometimes dun wanna stop @ some plcs or some period of time, cos they wanna wait for calls. itz so unfair to us consumers! yep, and it was fri nite, so most prob they were jus driving ard waiting for calls, to earn more.
as a consumer of coz i’m very annoyed…but tink again, if i were a cab driver, in order to earn more to "survive" in (forever increasing cost of living) singapore, i guess i might be doing it as well, altho itz unethical.
