walao! my comfortable & look-nice shoes spoil, aft buying for jus 1week! DAMN! the stupid button on it came off, and dunno dropped where… had got myself 3pairs of comfy shoes for teaching… now left 2pairs only…how…itz reli very comfy and looks nice! shud i spend another $19.90 to buy a pair tatz exactly the same??? how? how?? give me ur opinions, pls…
today marks the end of all the meaningless enrichment courses by MOE, which r not-at-all-enriching! but i had reli enjoyed diz 2 weeks. no stress, no assignment, no homework, don hv to think of anything… simply travel to school everyday, then either sit in the LT reading my bks, listening to phantom of the opera. when i feel like it then raise my head to listen to the meaningless talks the lousy speakers were giving, or go to the library to read newspapers or chill out in the library cafe. aft course ended, sometimes we wud just stroll reli slowly to jurong pt to eat, shop or chat. hardly have times like dis! there was simply no reason for us to b rushing hme. we hv all the time in the world! diz 2 weeks was reli BLISSFUL!
i reli wonder y…those speakers that gave talks were very ineffective speakers! n most of the speakers are, or, had been teachers. OMG! such lousy speakers, how r they able to teach effectively? how r they able to attract their students’ attention? some simply read their powerpoint slides word by word w/o any eye contact wif the audience. DUH! i "proudly" tink i myself is a good presenter la, so wheneva i watch a presentation, i’d have some expectations of the speakers, bt sadly, most of the times, i’d b disappointed. well, most prob all the effective speakers/presenters wouldn’t have come into MOE to b teachers, i guess most of them would have alr entered the corporate world and b earning big bucks. bt itz reli a chore! to b sitting there for hrs bearing wif these lousy speakers!
SAD that the blissful days r gone, forever… today is the last day i’l ever step into nie, in short term at least. took a good look at the nice greenery! i had owiz thought the greenery there was marvellous, but nvr had the mood to appreciate it during the 4-yr semesters. i’m glad i saw my "idol" teacher today, at least was able to see him again on the last day of me in nie. i will miss him lots for sure!
monday shall b the 1st day i start my career, and i’m supposed to report to school b4 7am… haiz… wich means i gotta wake up as early as 5.15am? yep, don b surprised, i’m a slow tortoise, need half an hr for brkfst & feeding my cats, then 1hr for bath, toilet-ing, blowing hair & getting prepared. reli reli reli reli dunno watz gonna come… last week b4 the sch holidays, will i b asked to start teaching immediately? do relief? observe the classes wich i’m supposed to take next term? asked to set exam papers? plan syllabus? ……
tmr gg for grasshopper concert! can reli let down my hair & enjoy the last wkend b4 i start my career! watched phantom of the opera last tues, wow! it was fantastic! i love brad little’s voice! it was reli touching! whenever he sings, i feel like crying, his voice is full of emotions! haha, i actually prefer the phantom (brad little) to raoul. don like raoul…to me, he’s like the bad guy, ahaha… main reason i tink bcos the raoul i watched couldn’t reli sing very well. bought the phantom cd, and the "all i ask of u" sung by the original christine & raoul in the cd was sssooooo much beta than wat i watched. my 1st time watching a musical, good experience! and i reli wanna watch phantom the 2nd time, 3rd time, 4th time…
looking fwd to june holidays where i can c my pals again! but 1st of all, looking fwd to sunday, the very last day i can relax b4 starting wrk… gotta tink of wat class rules i have to brief my students, wat to bring to school…sianzzzzzzz!
